To the valued families we serve,
Brater Winter Funeral Home prioritizes the health and well-being of our associates and guests. We understand this is a fluid situation and are monitoring and evaluating developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
We and the State of Ohio still believe that gathering and supporting one another at a time of loss is important which is why the State of Ohio has exempted funerals from the public gathering ban. In an effort to comply with the CDC’s most recent recommendation of no more than 50 people in attendance at public gatherings, all services and visitation will be strictly private with the option of complimentary on-site video streaming; attendance may be restricted based space required to accommodate social distancing requirements issued by the State of Ohio. Families that choose to hold a private funeral or memorial service at this time will have the option to hold a public memorial service at a later date; for these families, we will waive the memorial service fee.
We do ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home, but reach out to the family via the memorial webpage on www.braterfh.com. If you are attending private services, please follow the CDC recommendations below.
In addition to communicating best health and safety practices to our associates and guests, Brater Winter Funeral Home has implemented enhanced cleaning throughout our locations:
Associates have been reminded of and encouraged to use good hand hygiene and cough etiquette habits.
Heightened daily disinfection practices for high-touch surfaces
We encourage you to follow the CDC recommendation to take the usual steps to help prevent the spread of illness:
