William L Castellini

William L. Castellini, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 79. Born on January 17, 1942, he began his forever with Kathleen Backs on November 10, 1976, spending nearly 45 years raising & loving their 14 children. His family, friends, & fans knew him as “Bengal Bill” no.1 fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. A passionate Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend, & Mentor to many, who had a love of life that was contagious, a wardrobe that was outrageous, and a heart that was enormous. He will be deeply missed.

His memory will live on with his loving wife: Kathleen Castellini; children: William Castellini (Janice), Kimberly Miles (John), Colleen Buzek (Dan), Kellie Cordell (Steve dec.), Cary Castellini (Theresa), Vickie Castellini (Rob), Valerie Bolser (Ed), Jay Castellini (Beth), Anthony Castellini (Victoria), Jennifer Zahneis (Mike), Danielle Oaks (Dave), Nicholas Castellini (Jessica), and Scott Castellini (Meghan); 32 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and sister: Lynn Gerwe (Mel).

Bill is preceded in death by his son: Christopher Castellini; parents: William and Marie Castellini (nee Angelo); and sister: Pamela Arbino. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 18th at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church, 3172 South Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45248. Burial to follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio. A luncheon at Miami Township Community Center will follow. In honor of “Bengal Bill”, the family is requesting everyone to wear orange and black. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bengal Bill Scholarship Fund thru the Anthony Munoz Foundation www.munozfoundation.org/donate.  A funeral home representative will be available prior to and after the service to assist with donations, or you may mail them to Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233.
