Thomas R. Crone Sr.

Thomas R. Crone Sr., of Harrison, Ohio passed away August 13, 2021, at the age of 92. Tom was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 15, 1929, to Albert and Anna (nee Walsh) Crone. Tom was a home builder for over 50 years. He was involved in building a home for everyone of his children. In his spare time, Tom loved to travel with Reta.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Reta (Poland) Crone; children: Thomas R. Crone Jr., Judith (the late Russell) Benson, Sharon (Mark) Lilly, Bill (Debbie) Crone, & Ron (Kelley) Crone. Bonus children: Sharon (Clyde) Goerler, Karen Greschel, & Debbie (Steve) Maher; 17 grandchildren & 19 great grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his siblings: Mary Catherine Cassidy, Madeline Vonderhaar, Betty Hopperton, James & Paul J. Crone.

Visitation will be held at the Old St John the Baptist Catholic Church (corner of Park & Hill St.) on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 10 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM with Father Jeffrey Kemper officiating. (Masks will be required for everyone in church.) Burial to follow at Glen Haven Cemetery.

 Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. You may bring your donation at the time of visitation and a funeral home representative will be able to assist you.
