Terri Lynn Tharp

Terri Lynn (nee Kube) age 54, resident of Harrison, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014. Terri was born to parents, Joseph & Roberta (nee Tutte) Kube on November 7, 1959. She has 4 siblings, Karen, Janice, Michelle and Joey. Terri grew up with the nickname "Sunshine" and anyone that knew her said that the name was perfect. After graduation, Terri attended college and earned an associate's degree in computer science. She married Joseph Richard "Rick" Tharp and have 2 children: Leslie & Bryan. Rick was serving our country in the Armed Forces, and they were able to visit and live in a variety of places across the country as well as outside of the United States. Terri made many lifelong friendships with people from all around the world. She loved yard sales and gardening. She was very involved in her church (St. John the Baptist) and had a group of friends who started a "cooking club" and after they were tired of cooking they morphed it into a book club. Terri ran in the Flying Pig Half Marathon shortly before she found out she had cancer, and was so happy she did it. Terri's legacy was her family. She loved Rick and their children and grandchildren more than anything. Her grandson Michael couldn't say Nana, so he gave her the name Nina, and she loved it. Terri will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She brought a presence to the room, that many can not. She truly was a gift from God, and is now resting in her heavenly home.

Those surviving who will honor her memory include, loving husband: Joseph Richard "Rick" Tharp; cherished children: Leslie (Daniel) Bolock and Bryan Tharp; beloved grandchildren: Michael & Laurel Bolock; father: Joseph (Carolyn) Kube; loving sisters: Karen (Mike) Reynolds, Janice True & Bernie, & Michelle Farris.

She was preceded in death by he mother: Roberta (nee Tutt) Kube; and her brother: Joey Kube.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 2:30-5:30 PM at the Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030 with Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM at St. John the Baptist Church, Harrison Ohio, 45030. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Harrison Pregnancy Center through the funeral home.
