Shirley Praechter

Shirley Praechter, age 79 of Cleves, passed away on November 21, 2019. She was born on December 18, 1939 in Highland Park, MI. Shirley lived her life to serve others. She was always helping people who were less fortunate. Shirley sheltered and provided for many women and children over the years. She always fought for people with disabilities and enjoyed being a social worker. Shirley was also a substitute teacher at St. John the Baptist School and an active parishioner of the church.

Those left to cherish and carry on Shirley's legacy are her loving husband Joseph Praechter; beloved children: Mark (Cindy) Campbell, Neil (Julie) Campbell and Victoria (Dan) Carrier; cherished grandchildren: Trenton, Maxwell, Cali, Laura, Conner Campbell, Alexandria Carrier and Madison Bowling; great grandchildren: Arianna and Melanie; and many siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 10010 Carolina Trace Road, Harrison, OH 45030, with Father Jeffrey Kemper and Father Edward Shine officiating. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or any Food Bank of donor's choice. The funeral home will be collecting donations the day of the service or you may mail your donation to the funeral home, and they will notify the family of the donation.
