Sheldon Wayne Connelly, age 87, of Harrison, Passed away January 11, 2015 at the Waters of Dillsboro at 3:35 AM.
He was born July 18, 1927 in Erlanger, KY to the late Arnold and Clara (nee Clegg) Connelly. Sheldon served Our Country with Honor in the US Navy and US Marines during WWII. He was a retiree of CG & E and lived in Harrison for the last 25 years. Sheldon was also a member of the Harrison Avenue Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lena F. (nee Thornton) Connelly, parents: Arnold & Clara, brother and sister and a grandson.
Survivors include his step daughters: Frances Caudill & Shirley (Melvin) Braden, 7 wonderful grandchildren: Rick (Sue) Braden, John (Regina) Pennington, Debbie Pennington, Vicki Burleson, Sherry (Jim) Mullen, Deanna (JR) Meadors, Shirley (Dave) Jones; 21 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2014 from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 10:30 AM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030.
Memorials may be made to Harrison Ave. Baptist Church by bringing your donation to the visitation or funeral or mailing your donation to the Funeral Home if you are unable to attend.
