Samuel "Sam" Conroy

Samuel "Sam" Adam Conroy, of West Harrison, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the age of 31. Sam came into this world, on his mom's birthday, on February 23, 1993, in Cincinnati, Ohio to James Conroy and Kristina (Glasgow) Moore.

Sam will be remembered for his unwavering spirit and his passion for life. Despite facing challenges due to his spina bifida, Sam never allowed it to dim his vibrant personality. He found joy in playing hockey for the Ice Breakers sled hockey team and embraced the outdoors wholeheartedly, whether he was waterskiing, driving around in the golf cart causing mischief, or spending time with the younger kids whom he adored. 

Memories of Sam will be filled with the echoes of his laughter and his love for his family. He found solace in the simplicity of listening to Country music, casting a line while fishing, and expressing his creativity through wood carving and drawing.

His memory will be cherished forever with his parents: Krissy & Jeff Moore; siblings: Corey (David) Lipps, Dylan (Abby) Conroy, Rebecca Marchan, Tyler (Andrea) Moore, Gabbi Moore, Caleb Moore, and Isabelle Moore; grandparents: Clarice (the late James) Conroy, Julie Glasgow, the late Stephen Glasgow, and Jane and Paul Moore; Aunts and Uncles: Michelle (Pat) Schmit, Stephen Glasgow Jr., and Todd Moore; nieces and nephews: David Marchan, Evelyn Marchan and Juliet Lipps. 

Visitation will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio on March 23, 2024, from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at 4:00 pm. 

Memorials may be made in Sam's honor to the Cincinnati Ice Breakers Sled Hockey Team. A funeral home representative will be available to accept your donation during the services.
