Richard Brauer Obituary

Richard Erwin Brauer, age 86 of Sayler Park, passed away on April 1, 2020. He was born on September 8, 1933 in Cincinnati to Erwin and Nellie (nee Toole) Brauer. Richard served in the US Army. He married Mary Anne Langen and they were blessed with a daughter Jennifer. Richard worked as a fork lift operator for P & G for many years. He also was a lifetime member of Knights of Pythias, Cheviot Lodge #755. He enjoyed boating, racing and being active. He was always doing something from teaching his grandchildren how to work on cars to helping fixing things for family. He retired at the age of 57 and was blessed to help watch his grandchildren after school and attend sporting events. He will be missed dearly by his family and close friends.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law: Jennifer and Steve Burns; Cherished grandchildren: Ryan (Katelyn) Burns, Keith (Sarah) Burns and Courtney Burns; dear great grandchild: Audrey Burns. He is also survived by his brother-in-law: Jerry Langen and sister: Linda Noel.

Do to limitations at this time the family will be having a private family viewing and services followed by burial at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Advocates for Deaf Education. You can mail you donation to Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45233. They will notify the family of the donation and mail donation to the charity.
