Michael Joseph Sauntry

Michael Joseph Sauntry Age 55, formerly of Harrison passed away at Drake Hospital on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. He was born September 3, 1959 to the late Robert & Mary (nee Rolfes) Sauntry. Mike graduated in 1977 from William Henry Harrison High School. He married Lori Applegate and they had a daughter Samantha. He worked for CG & E. Michael was a member of Knights of Columbus and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He has been at Drake Center for 28 years.

Michael was the loving father of Samantha Sauntry. Grandfather of Courtney, Jackson, Jesse & Cadence. Dear brother of Robert (Tammy) Sauntry, Carol Ison, Chris (Glenn) Warders. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a twin brother John Sauntry and infant child Virginia Marie Sauntry.

Visitation will be held on June 5, 2015 from 10 AM until 11 AM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St. Harrison, OH 45030. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, (Park and Hill) Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial at St. John's Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Knights of Columbus. You may bring your donation to the visitation or Mass and give to a funeral home representative. If you are unable to attend them mail your donation to the funeral home.
