Maureen D. (Nee Masterson) Becknell. Age 84, of Sayler Park passed away on November 14, 2020. She was born April 21, 1936 in Hardin County, Kentucky to William and Viola (nee Weatherford) Masterson. She married Richard W. Becknell on May 1, 1954 and they were blessed with three children: Connie, Shari and David. Maureen enjoyed reading, socializing with her friends and shopping. She was active in Granny Scouts and in the Shriners’ Ladies group.
Preceded in death by her loving husband: Richard W. Becknell 2015; parents; son: David W. Becknell in 1985; grandson: Kyle Rogers in 2011; great grandson: Wyatt Rogers in 2011.
Survivors include her wonderful daughters: Connie (Richard) McCoy, Shari (Larry) Rogers; beloved grandchildren: Todd (Nikki) McCoy, Erin (Doug) Loftus, Brad (Jennifer) McCoy, Evan (Elizabeth) Rogers and Megan (Michael) Collett; great grandchildren: Owen & Oliver Rogers, Addison, Cooper & Caroline Loftus, Landon, Grayson & Logan McCoy, Mason, Averi, Jaxon & Max Collett, Gage Gilbert; cherished siblings: Linda (Dan) Doerflein, Robert (Edith) Masterson and William (Rachelle) Masterson. Also survived by a brother- in-law: Clyde Becknell and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 11 am to 11:30 AM for at-risk attendees and will be open to the public from 11:30 AM until the time of the funeral services at 12:30 PM in Eden Chapel UMC, 150 Dahlia Ave., Sayler Park. Followed by Graveside services at Maple Grove Cemetery. We will be following social distancing guidelines, and all attendees are required to wear a mask.
