Mary R. “Rosie” (nee Andejeski) Lape, of Harrison, passed away on October 24, 2020, 1 day short of her 91st birthday. She was born on October 25, 1929 in Newport, KY to Arthur and Marie (nee Miller) Andejeski. She married William D. Lape on May 30, 1951 and they were blessed with 6 children: Ronald, Gary, Nancy, Stan, Steve and Tami. Mary enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mary also enjoyed watching Golf.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband William D. Lape in 2010; her son: Ronald and daughter-in-law Diane Lape; parents: Arthur and Marie Andejeski; grandson: Daniel Lape; great granddaughter: Audrey Deaton; siblings: Arthur (Suzy) Andejeski, Ralph Andejeski, Dorothy (Fred) Schneider; and brother in law James Lape.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Gary (Teddy) Lape, Nancy (Bill) Morgan, Stan (Sharon) Lape, Steve (Maryann) Lape, Tami (Steve) Wormus; Cherished grandchildren:Alison (Adrian) Abrahim, Brad (Mary Beth) Corcoran, Tim Maggart, Todd (Gena) Maggart, Will (Yaluzmar) Adams, David (Dr. Courtney) Adams, Rose (Zach) Koehler, Billy Morgan, Dominic Lape, Scott Lape, Cory Lape, Monica Lape, Charlie (Bryanna) Lape, Liza (Jeff) Deaton, and Tyler (Erica) Wormus; great grandchildren: Nikolas, Mila, Devan, Bailey, Thomas, Andrew, Guillermo, Jorge, Barbara, Jace, Grant, August, Ashton, Elinor, Caelan & Grace. Also survived by her sister: Laura Lape and Sister-in-law: Jean Andejeski.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 30,2020 from 10 am to 11 am at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S Vine St. Harrison, Ohio 45030. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 10010 Carolina Trace, Harrison. Burial to follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Services will be live on facebook https://www.facebook.com/braterwinterfh Everyone in attendance of the visitation and funeral service will be required to wear a mask.
