Laurence "Larry" Fahringer

Laurence "Larry" B. Fahringer, of Bright, Indiana passed away April 11, 2019, at the age of 73. Laurence was born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to Laurence and Gloria (nee Piperata) Fahringer on October 4, 1945. He then married Nancy Poling, and together they were blessed with 9 children. Laurence served in the Vietnam War and received two purple hearts for his service in the US Marine Corps. He enjoyed going to sporting events and coaching soccer. Larry had a passion for sports cars and also loved to travel, especially to the beach in North Carolina and to bear hunt in Maine. He was a family man and loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Nancy Fahringer; his beloved children: Jennifer (Bob) Lanter, Denise (Don) Pecha, Joeline (Brian) Chipps, Ryan Fahringer, Christina DiMartino, Suzanne (Eric) Armanta, Lauren (Chris) Lonaker, Michael Fahringer, and Elise Fahringer; his 37 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; his brother: Bob (Pam) Fahringer; sister-in-law: Carol Fahringer and mother-in-law: Nancy Poling.

Laurence is preceded in death by his parents: Laurence and Gloria Fahringer; his brother: Frank Fahringer and father-in-law: Robert Poling.

A Rosary Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 15, 2019 at All Saints Parish, St. Joe's Campus, 7536 Church Lane, West Harrison, IN 47060. Visitation will follow unitl the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery with Military Honors.

Memorials may be made to the All Saints Parish. You may bring your donation to the visitation and a funeral home representative will be able to assist you. If you are unable to attend the services, you may mail your memorial to the funeral home.
