Jill C Eldridge

Jill C. Eldridge, of Harrison, passed away February 27, 2022, at the age of 71 surrounded by family.  She was born on January 2, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Albert and Ruth (nee Gregory) Strohofer.  Jill graduated from Mother of Mercy High School in 1970.  She married James Eldridge in 1975 and devoted her whole life to caring for her family.  Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart.  Jill enjoyed going to all her grandchildren’s sporting events, performances, and holiday programs.  She was a great cook and everyone loved her potato salad.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading, watching movies and family game night.

Jill’s memory will live on through her loving husband: James Eldridge; devoted children: Angel (Rich) Cupp, Bridget Eldridge (Mike Greiner); cherished grandchildren: Hunter and Hayley Cupp, and Nate Greiner; siblings: Joy (Ron) Krass, Cheryl (Paul) Kiefer, Tammy (Dave) Sparks, and Greg Strohofer; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son: Adam Eldridge; her parents Albert and Ruth Strohofer and brothers: Albert Jr., James, Ronald, and Richard Strohofer. Nieces Carly and Holly.

Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 10010 Carolina Trace Rd, Harrison, Ohio on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 10 am.  Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.   

The family requests memorials be made to the PKD Foundation (Polycystic Kidney Disease). A funeral home representative will be present to assist you with your donation the day of the services.
