James A. Turner Jr., of Harrison, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the age of 57. He was born November 16, 1964, in Pontiac, Michigan to James Avery Sr. and Ella (nee Bell) Turner. James married Catherine Davis on November 16, 2017, and quickly became a father to Catherine’s children and grandchildren. He owned Heritage Glen Cleaners in Kenwood for over 20 years. A little more than a year ago, James began driving a truck for Midwest Cylinder Inc.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Catherine Turner; bonus children: Angie (Jared) Miller, Greg (Nikki) Shaw, and James Shaw; grandchildren: Serene Miller, Abrial Barnett, Savannah Shaw, and Dalton Miller; great grandchildren: Mylah and Kaliyah; mother: Ruth Weatherington; brother: Aaron (Jennifer) Turner; niece: Hanna Turner; nephew: Will Turner; Father-in-law: Daniel Hanson; sister-in-law: Lynn Hanson; brother-in-law: Mike (Lori) Hanson.

James was preceded in death by his father: James Avery Turner Sr.; and mother-in-law: Leona Hanson.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
