Fern L. Anderson

Fern L. (nee Studer), age 80, resident of Harrison, Ohio passed away on Tuesday April 15, 2014. She was born on September 18, 1933 to Shirley & Mary (nee Dougoud) Studer and had 3 siblings; Eddie, Joe & Ray. In September of 1952 Fern married the love of her life, Donald Anderson. They had 3 sons and a daughter, Terry, Paul, Barry, and Mary. Fern worked at JTM for 14 years as a cook. During their "nearly" 62 years of marriage, Fern & Don enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips. They visited Branson, Missouri and Mackinaw Island, and a cruise around the Caribbean. They took a 2 week trip out west and visited Yosemite National Park, and the Grand Canyon. Fern loved scrap-booking, crossword puzzles and paint-by-number paintings. Fern loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Those surviving who will honor Fern's memory include devoted husband: Donald Anderson; loving children: Terry (Paula), Paul (Deborah), Barry (Leah) Anderson and Mary (Steve) Young; 9 devoted grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and brother Eddie Studer.

Visitation will be held in Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030 on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at 12PM. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church through the funeral home.
