Dorothy Grigsby

Dorothy (nee Hensley), age 91, resident of Harrison Ohio passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on June 10, 1923 to John & Elvira (nee Crawford) Hensley. Dorothy married Earl Grigsby in 1938 when she was just 15 years old. They were blessed to have 6 children: Bill, Estella, Lucille, Betty, Jewell and Cliff. Dorothy was a very simple lady, who loved her family. Dorothy was a homemaker, kept very busy all the time and enjoyed every minute of it. She loved flowers (especially yellow ones), and her family would take her flowers often.
Those surviving that will honor her memory include her loving children: Bill (Martha) Grigsby, Estella (Billy) Cox, Lucille (Dwight) Irvine, Betty (James) McIlquham, Jewell (Larry) Newell, & Cliff (Debbie) Grigsby; 16 cherished grandchildren & 28 great grandchildren; and beloved sister: Oma Morris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband: Earl Grigsby; & 2 brothers & 4 sisters. Private services will be held at convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation through the funeral home.
