Carol A Duwel

Carol A. Duwel, of Harrison, passed away on Feb. 23, 2021 at her home at the age of 87. She was the loving mother of David P. (Crystal) Rueter. Cherished grandma of Danielle, David J., Debra and Devon Rueter. Beloved sister of Jim Harper and the late: Mary Gulley, Mildred Morris, Bob and Rich Harper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Carol loved being a grandma and spending time with each of them. She was always traveling to support them at games and events. She was a Teacher for many years and taught at Harrison, Hooven and Crosby Elementary Schools. Carol also loved to catch up with people from the past, old students and friends. She lived for her weekly lunches and yearly trips with her "Sunflower Girls." Carol was a member of the Harrison Ave. Baptist Church.

Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
