Brenda Joyce Wolf, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, peacefully passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 73, surrounded by love and care in her home. Born on March 24, 1950, in New Castle, Indiana to Alvin Chester and Mildred (Davis) Wolf, Brenda was a cherished daughter, mother, and friend. She pursued higher education, achieving an Associate of Engineering degree and forged a successful career in computer programming.
She played a part in the creation of the EPIC program that hospitals use today until her early medical leave when diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers. A woman of many talents, Brenda's true joy came from spending time with her children: Christina, Edward, Tracey and Michael, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, creating countless cherished memories of movie nights and fishing adventures.
Brenda's warm heart and generous spirit touched the lives of many. Her love for children led her to teach Sunday school at New Haven Road Church, where she shared her humor and wisdom with the little ones. Brenda's sharp wit and caring nature endeared her to all who knew her.
Those left to carry on Brenda's legacy are her children: Christina (Rick Lutz) Carpenter, Edward (Danielle) Huff, Tracey Huff, and Michael Wolf; cherished grandchildren: Adam (Rebecca Bibee) Carpenter, Chad (Eva Cook) Carpenter, Renee Riehle, Erica Riehle, Stephenie (Aryn Jones) Wolf, Jamie Huff, Larry (Megan) Barnes, Jennifer (Amanda) James; 17 great grandchildren; dear sister Pam (John) Hopkins, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Chester Alvin Wolf and Mildred (nee Davis) Wolf; sister: Theresa Steele; brothers: Alvin Wolf & Bruce Wolf.
Visitation will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, Harrison, OH, on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 2 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3 pm, with Pastor Mark Garrett officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family to offset costs on the funeral. Funeral Home representative will be available during the visitation and after the service.
