Betty (Bauer) Salling Wells

Betty (nee Bauer) Salling-Wells, passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 93.  She was born on March 23, 1929, to August & Margaret (nee Pessler) Bauer in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Betty worked for Fernbank Lumber as a bookkeeper.  In her free time, she enjoyed doing ceramics, rock hunting, and spending time with her dogs. Betty's girlfriends meant the world to her, and she enjoyed boating and little trips with them.  After she married Robert L. Wells, they enjoyed traveling.  Betty enjoyed living in Sayler Park and loved gardening.  She always took so much pride in her yard.

Survivors include her sons: Steve (Gina) Salling, and Mark Salling; cherished grandchildren: Kyle (Naomi) Salling, Scott (Brittany) Salling, & Adam (Sheridan) Salling; beloved great grandchildren: Micah, Elijah, Siena, Kannon, Hendrix, Aiden, Serenity & Kylie.

Preceded in death by her husband:  Robert L. Wells; parents: August & Margaret Bauer; siblings: Jack Baurer, Thomas Baurer, William Bauer, Robert Bauer, Audrey Schaefer, & Donna Miller.

Visitation will be at Brater Winter Funeral Home, Sayler Park, on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 10 am to 11 am.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held following at St. Aloysius on the Ohio, Sayler Park, at 11:30 am.  Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 10 am. Meet at Cemetery gate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests masses to be said on behalf of Betty. Donations will be accepted at time of visitation. A funeral home representative will be happy to assist you with your donation. Otherwise, you may mail your donation, payable to St. Aloysius on the Ohio, to Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio 45030. We will notify the family of your donation.
