Barbara (Eustes) Burch

Barbara (Eustes) Burch, of Bright, IN, passed away on April 3, 2021 at the age of 77. Barbara was born on December 30, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to Alfred and Dorothy (Waight) Eustes.  Barb was a wonderful mother to her three children: Amy, John and Jennifer.  She worked as an administrative assistant for UC Hospital in the Body Donation Program and also worked for Children’s Hospital in the Research Department. Barbara enjoyed being active at the Providence Presbyterian Church in Bright. She was active on the board at the church, sang in the choir and loved helping out wherever she was needed. Barbara met Mike Mueller and they enjoyed traveling and being with each other for the past 19 years. They also enjoyed selling all of the crafts Barbara would make at craft shows in the area.  She loved making jewelry and banners with beads.  Barbara was a nature lover and took time every day to watch the squirrels, birds and be with her beloved pets.  The family found a post-it-note with the following written on it and they wanted to share with everyone.

even if it means driving

in reverse sometimes."

Barbara will be missed by many including her children and their spouses: Amy (Bill) Hanlon, John (Sherry) Burch, and Jennifer (Mark) Bayne; loving companion: Michael Mueller; grandchildren: Katlyne (Matt) Betustak, Brendan, Lauren, Eren, Kristin, Brogan, and Ryann Bayne; siblings: Bill (Peg) Eustes, Diane Lahoski, Vivian (Dave) Neumann; brother-in-law: Dick Gasky; sister-in-law: Jane Poindexter; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents: Alfred and Dorothy (nee Waight) Eustes; siblings: Chuck Eustes and Sally Gasky.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Providence Presbyterian Church, 23983 Salt Fork Road, Bright, Indiana, 47025 with Dan Johnson officiating. Burial to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Providence Presbyterian Church or Paws of Dearborn County. A funeral home representative will be available during the services to take donations.  If you are unable you may mail your donation to Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030.  They will notify the family of your donation and forward to charity.
