John Cronkhite Obituary
John Raymond Cronkhite, age 64 of Newport, KY, passed away on June 29, 2019 at Mercy West Hospital. John was born on September 21, 1954 in Hamilton, Ohio. He was a 1972 graduate of Lawrenceburg High School. He served in the US Army before attending Marion College, Indianapolis, IN. Later he earned his BS degree from the University of Cincinnati.
John was employed by Intelligrated (Mason, OH) as a recruiter. John was very intelligent with a great sense of humor. He loved music, and sports, but his favorite pastime was going to the beach.
Those left to cherish John's memory are his two children: Jonathan "Buddy" (Carrie) Cronkhite, of Texas and Katy Cronkhite of California; wonderful grandchildren: Dade and Cora Cronkhite; Sister: Cecilia "Sis" (Art) Hoffman of Colorado; and also his ex-wife and friend: Carol (Niesen) Cronkhite of Bright, IN.
John was preceded in death by his parents: Faith (nee Stewart) Lane, and Norman Cronkhite.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday July 20th at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, 23345 Gavin Lane Bright, IN 47025 at 11:00, followed by a luncheon / reception at the Parish Community Center from noon to 3:00.
