JoAnn West Obituary
JoAnn H. (nee Schroot) West, Resident of Sayler Park, passed away on January 21, 2018 at the age of 81.
She was born on March 16, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Ferdinand and Helen (nee Mauch) Schroot. She married William M. West and they were blessed with two children: Kimberly and Keith. JoAnn loved entertaining friends and family. Weekly she had the family over and enjoyed making and enjoying a good drink. She worked at UC for over 30 years as a Registrar.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents: Ferdinand & Helen Schroot; devoted husband William M. West and brother Ferdinand Schroot Jr..
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Kimberly (Richard) Janke and Keith West; cherished grandchildren: Jennifer Fitzwater, Anthony Frey and Peter Frey; great grandchildren: Devon Ball, Brooke & Zach Fitzwater, Marissa Groener, Anthony and Riley Frey; and beloved brother and sister: Arthur Schroot and Marilyn Humbert.
Visitation will be Fri., Jan. 26, 2018 from 9 AM to 11 AM in Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave., Sayler Park, OH 45233. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Aloysius on the Ohio at 11:30 AM.
