Jerome Bosse Obituary
Jerome Bosse, of Green Township, passed away May 10, 2019 at the age of 84. Jerome was born to Joseph and Florence (nee Heile) Bosse in Cincinnati on June 9, 1934. Jerome attended Roger Bacon High School. He then married Annetta Hoffman on May 21, 1955 and together they were blessed with ten children. Jerome worked as a cabinet maker at Kitchens by Nickoson. He built chest of drawers for his children as well kitchen cabinets for the family. Jerome loved gardening, especially roses. He enjoyed camping at Old Man's Cave and would play cards often. Jerome loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always smiled when they were around.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years: Annetta (nee Hoffman) Bosse; his beloved children: Mary Ann Bosse, Katie (Ron) Pio, Jerry (Kathy) Bosse, Marlene "Pud" Dole, John (Patty) Bosse, Jim Bosse, Jeff (Christy) Bosse, Jay (Jane) Bosse, Annette (Patrick) Rees; son-in-law: Joel Beck; 30 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren with 4 on the way; his siblings: Joe (Mickey) Bosse, Mary (Earl) Ritterholz; sister-in-law: Kitty Bosse; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his daughter: Sue Beck; his parents: Joseph and Florence Bosse; and his siblings: Norbert (Janet) Bosse, Ed (Sadie) Bosse, Bernie Bosse, and Rose (Jim) Lange.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 11:30 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 5222 N Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247. Burial to follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati (Comfort Care) or St. Ignatius. You may bring your donation to the Mass and a funeral home representative will be able to assist you.
