Alice June Ellis

Alice June Ellis (nee Heal), of Harrison, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the age of 82. Alice was born to Joseph and Alice Heal on June 24, 1937. She married Darrell Ellis, and they were blessed with three daughters: Linda, Betty and Diane; and adopted their granddaughter Christina. Alice retired from Campbell Hausfeld, where she worked for 35 years. Alice had a great sense of humor and would always make you laugh. In the last few years she has had a rough time with her health and also with losing her husband and her three daughters, however, Alice kept smiling and joking even with this diversity. She was a strong role model for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Christina Bowman; her grandchildren: Rhonda (Dave) Sanderson, Joe Hendel, Greg Schwab, Jimmy Mays, and Gabe Bowmen; her great grandchildren: David & Dylan Sanderson, and Desmond Schwab; sister: Irene "Rene"; and brother: Paul Heal.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband: Darrell; daughters: Linda Mays, Betty Schwab, and Diane Bowles; and sister: Joann.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 23, 2019 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm, at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio. Burial to follow at Bevis Cedar Grove Cemetery, Colerain Twp., Ohio.
