William D. "Will" Horton, formerly of Maineville, OH and originally of Sayler Park, passed away on June 6, 2022 at the age of 82. Will was the only child born to William J. and Esther (nee Eisenman) Horton on October 21, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Will grew up on Parkland Ave.
in Sayler Park. He graduated Western Hills High School in 1957 and then went to Ohio College of Applied Science to pursue his Electrical Technology degree. He started working at Cincinnati Milacron. As time
went on he went back to school at night to become a computer programmer, which helped with technology changes within the company.
Will married Nellie Allen and they were blessed with two sons: Bruce and Chuck. Nellie passed away in 1969 leaving Will to raise his boys. After retiring from Milacron Will went back to work in the seafood department at the Landon Kroger and became manager. This was a fitting
job for Will since he enjoyed fishing and everything to do with fishing. Will enjoyed playing softball and watching the Reds, especially when they won.
Will was preceded in death by his wife: Nellie (nee Allen) Horton, significant other Roberta "Bertie" Hutton; great grandson: Cale Horton, and parents: William J. & Esther Horton.
Those left to his memory are his sons: Bruce (Diane) Horton, Chuck (Sheila) Horton: grandchildren: Kristopher (Angela) Horton, Douglass (Stephanie) Horton, Andrew (Tara) Horton, Nicholas (Shelly) Horton, William "John" Horton, & Matthew Horton; great grandchildren: Quenton, Audrey, Kasen, Benjamin, Caroline, Elliott, Autumn, Wren & Kellan.
