Timothy "Tim" C. Jeffreys, Sr., of Oakley, passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 78.
He was born on January 7, 1942 in LaGrange, Illinois to Kenneth and Margaret (McLhinney) Jeffreys. He received his Psychology Degree from Xavier University and then completed his Pharmacy Degree at University of Cincinnati. He was a pharmacist for 50 years retiring from Walgreens. Tim married Joanne Tilmes on August 8, 1964 and they were blessed with 4 children: Juli, Jeanna, Jennifer and Tim Jr.. Tim Sr. was an avid collector of Lionel Trains and had an appreciation for old cars. He was the best bargain shopper and enjoyed getting a good deal. Tim and Joanne have been members at St. Cecilia Catholic Church for over 50 years. He coached girls basketball for local Catholic schools over the years including Purcell Marian and McNicholas. Tim always took time to support his grandchildren at sporting, drama, and singing events and he was always up for a good fireworks display.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 56 years Joanne Jeffreys; dear children: Juli (Jeff) Bloebaum, Jeanna (Dave) Fight, Jennifer (Randy) Hall, Tim Jr. (Michelle) Jeffreys; cherished grandchildren: Allison, Carl, Lizzie, Ellie, David, Kevin, Adam, Claire, Noah, Grace & deceased grandson Timmy. Tim is also survived by his sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law: Nancy (Mike) Tscheiner, Terry (Dave) Schuck, Tom (Rhonda) Tilmes, & Laura (Jon) Hayes.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 10 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 3105 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45209. ***Services will be live streamed. Please see the below in Service listings the link to the feed.
