Tim David Garrison

Tim David Garrison, of Harrison, passed away at his home on May 31, 2021 at the age of 59.  He was born on August 29, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Aubrey and Naomi (nee Courtney) Garrison.  Tim worked for Huesman’s, Cincinnati Inc and lastly Crown Plastics.  Tim could fix anything and over the past few years he fixed many washers & dryers and gave them to others in need.  He would help anyone with anything but would deny doing anything nice.  He was skilled at aggravating those around him and giving everyone a nick name.  Tim was a Dave Ramsey fan and enjoyed watching his shows.  He married Theresa Drake on December 29, 2006 and he became a instant father to Theresa’s four daughters: Jessica, Jennifer, Kayla and Katlyn which he infamously named each of them #1, #2, #3, & #4.  Then came along Timothy James Garrison “T.J.”  who he gave the nick name “General.”  Tim enjoyed fishing with his children and grandchildren.  The truth about Tim was that if he was not giving you a nick name or joking with you, he did not really like you.  He did not want anyone to cry about him being gone. He wanted a celebration of his life.  So, if you remember a joke that he told you or you have one to share please bring with you to his celebration.  

Those that are left with many fun stories are his loving wife: Theresa (nee Drake) Garrison; children: T.J. Garrison, Jessica Hodge #1, Jennifer (RJ) Howard #2, Kayla (Matt) Fox #3, Katlyn Cates #4; grandchildren: James Lehman, Eli, Lacie & Sebastian Howard, Lillian Fox, Kaylee, Kaidence, Kayla & Kylie Flores; father-in-law and mother-in-law William Drake Jr. and Margaret Drake.  Also survived by brothers: William and Dennis Garrison and many nieces and nephews. 

Tim was preceded in death by his parents: Aubrey and Naomi Garrison; and sisters: Annette & Janice Taylor. 

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Brater Winter Funeral Home.  Celebration of Life will be on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11 AM at funeral home.  Brother Ronnie Wolfe will be officiating.  Burial to follow at Glen Haven Cemetery.
