Teresa A (Meyer) Fette

The sweet smell of Apple Crisp and the delicious taste will always be a wonderful memory of Teresa to her family. She was a great baker and also made the best Fried Chicken, Ham Salad and Lasagna for family celebrations.  On September 5, 2022 Teresa A. Fette, of Harrison, passed away at the age of 65 after a long battle with dementia. The last few years were not how she would want to be remembered.  She would like to be remembered as the dear daughter of Kenneth and Carol (nee Meyers) Meyer. The little sister of Thomas, the big sister (yet much younger) of Gary, John, and Tracy, and the fun grandma who always had ice cream on hand and took them swimming in the summer. Teresa was all about family and would do anything for them.  She was a natural at being a mom and was blessed with three children: Tricia, Tiffany and Timothy.  Teresa loved attending all of her children's sporting events and also taking them camping to Versailles, Whitewater and Brookville. She instilled in her children to work for the things they want and to always be honest. Teresa was a customer service representative for 25 years with CG & E. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Tricia (Tim) Fausz, Tiffany (Robert) Beck, Timothy (Nicole) Fette; cherished grandchildren that refer to her as "Mamaw" Timmothy, Joshua, and Adam Hunsche; beloved great grandchildren: Jaelynn & Kaylee Hunsche.  Also survived by her siblings: Thomas (Karen) Meyer, Gary (Carla) Meyer, John (Diane) Meyer, & Tracy (Brian) McDonald and numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 5 pm to 8 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 10010 Carolina Trace, Harrison, on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11:00 am.  Burial to follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer Association.  A funeral home representative will be present during the visitation and service. If you are unable to attend you may mail your donation to the charity to the funeral home.  They will notify the family of your donation a forward memorials to the charity.
