Stephen Clair Robinson peacefully passed away in Billings, MT, October 20, 2023. He was born in Oak Ridge, TN on April 7, 1948 and moved to Harrison, OH in 1951.
In November of 2018, he moved from his longtime home in Harrison to Billings, MT, to be closer to his sister. Stephen was a ’67 graduate of Wm. Henry Harrison High School. He worked for the city of Harrison in the Sanitation Department for 28 years. He was a familiar face around town.
Stephen was a longtime fan of cars, NASCAR, go-carts, and all manner of other motor vehicles. He also loved the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. While in Billings he attended a few Mustang games, a farm team for the Reds. He liked to bowl, fish, dance, play bingo, and sing. He was a big fan of Elvis.
He was a member of the First Christian Church (now Legacy) in Harrison and attended the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Billings.
Stephen is survived by his sister, Cynthia Kessler and his brother-in-law Jeff Kessler, whom he greatly enjoyed, his niece Ames Kessler and nephew Zach Kessler.
Preceded in death were both his parents James W. Robinson and Frances E. Robinson and his very special friend of 18 years, Jackie Wilson.
A funeral service will be held at Brater Winter Funeral home in Harrison on October 30, 2023, at 11:00 am. followed by graveside services at Glen Haven Cemetery. Pastor Mark Garrett will be officiating the services.
