Sharon Shaw

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sharon Shaw of Harrison, formerly of West Harrison. Sharon passed away on June 29, 2023 at the age of 67.  She was born on January 15, 1956 in Chillicothe, Ohio to William and Betty (nee Magill) Shaw.  Sharon was blessed with a son Blake and was the best supporting mom.  She taught him to go after his dreams and work hard for what you want in life.  Sharon worked for the VA for many years as a IT specialist before her retirement.  After retiring she spent all her energy on her granddaughters: Caitlyn & Brianna, that she loved dearly.  Sharon was always on the go and could never sit still. She was the active “Nana” that attended sporting events and loved taking "her girls" shopping or to the movies. When not with her family she enjoyed gardening, reading books, and walking outside.

Sharon will be dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law: Blake and Kelly Dick; cherished granddaughters: Caitlyn and Brianna Dick; siblings: Betty Seymour, Marvin (Mary) Shaw, and Marsha (Mike) Ward; and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents: William and Betty Shaw; and brother Timothy Shaw.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
