Obituary
Roy E Burton, of Okeana, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the age of 77. He was born to John and Frieda (nee Proffitt) Burton on February 16, 1946, in London, Kentucky. John married Wilma Youngblood and together they were blessed with five sons: Ed, Randy, Mark, Jim, and Chad. Roy enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and working on his Volkswagen Bug. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Wilma Burton; devoted children: Randy Burton, Mark Burton, and Jim Burton; grandchildren: Justin Burton, Heather Burton, Kaylie Mackay, Faith Boggess, and Chloe Burton; great grandchildren: Adrian Burton, Ava Burton, and Evelynn Mackay: brother: Randall Burton; daughter-in-law: Kristen Burton.
Roy is preceded in death by his sons: Ed Burton and Chad Burton; and parents: John and Frieda Burton.
Visitation will be held at Whitewater Crossing Church, 5771 OH-128, Cleves, Ohio 45002, on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 6:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm.
