Richard T. Jenkins

Richard T. Jenkins, of Sunman, passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 90. Richard was born to Ted and Francis (nee Cooper) Jenkins on January 23, 1932 in Rising Sun, Indiana. Richard married Daisy Gray on August 14, 1989, and together they were blessed with 4 children: Kathern, Douglas, Richard Jr, and Dewayne. Richard worked for Seagram's Distillery for over 28 years. He loved to go to yard sales and flea markets, where he could find baseball caps to add to his extensive collection. Richard was a huge Cincinnati sports fan. He enjoyed watching both the Reds and the Bengals. More than anything, Richard loved his family. They were always his top priority in life.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Daisy Jenkins; children: Kathern M. Jenkins and Douglas F. (Denise) Jenkins; grandchildren: David Jenkins and Destiny Fury; great granddaughter: Emma N. Fury; sisters: Mary Miller and Patricia Emanuel.

Richard is preceded in death by his sons: Richard F. Jenkins Jr. and Dewayne Martin; parents: Red and Francis Jenkins.

Memorial Service will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio, on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 12:00 pm.

The family requests memorials to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. A funeral home representative will be present to help the day of the service, or you many donate online at Alz.org.
