Rhonda Gosser Obituary

Rhonda Sue (nee Glantz) Gosser, came into this world on February 1, 1968, the daughter of Fred Herrin and Sue (Samad) Herrin.  Her dad passed away and her mother later married Sidney Glantz who adopted Rhonda and her brother Rodney.  Rhonda graduated high school and married Scott Gosser on August 25, 1989.  Rhonda wasn’t afraid of hard work.  She went to school to become a barber and started Gosser’s Barber Shop in Miamitown. While working there she also helped Scott start Gosser Trucking and did all the books.  She put in many hours.  When she became a mom to Meagan she started to cut back and when Meagan started first grade, she stopped at the Barber shop so she could do more volunteer work at school.  Rhonda was always putting her family first in everything she did. Rhonda had a heart of gold and when she saw someone that needed something she did what she could to help, it might have been buying groceries for the family that didn’t have anything to eat in their home or giving someone some money when she knew they needed it.   The people she worked with at Gosser Trucking were also her family.  Rhonda passed away on March 12, 2022, unexpectedly and all of those that knew her are in shock.  She will be dearly missed especially by her loving daughter: Meagan Gosser; husband: Scott Gosser; beloved mom: Sue (Samad) Baird; brother: Rodney (Naomie) Glantz; bonus siblings: Candace (Joel) Gill, Timothy (Angel) Baird and Virgil Baird; father-in-law: Ralph Gosser; sister-in-law: Leann Gosser and many nieces and nephews.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her dads: Fred Herrin & Sidney Glantz and stepfather: James Baird.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 3 pm until the time of the service at 7 pm.  The family ask that in lieu of flowers make a donation to either the Mayors Fund or Church on Fire (Food Drive), or if someone you know needs help with something do it for them in memory of Rhonda and share it with the family. It will be nice to get notes or texts from family and friends that they are remembering Rhonda by doing something for others and keeping her memory alive.
