Norma Jean Rolfes

Norma Jean Rolfes (nee Pfaff), of Harrison, passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age of 94. She was born on June 5, 1928 in Franklin County, Indiana to Harry and Christine (nee Perry) Pfaff.  She grew up in Brookville with her siblings Frances, Leona & Bob.  Norma Married Charles Rolfes on April 26, 1952 and they were blessed with 4 children: Cindy, Brent, Jeff and Greg.  She loved being a mom and enjoyed being a grandmother even more.  Norma loved camping with her family.  She also enjoyed playing games especially bingo.  Norma couldn't resist stopping to shop at yard sales with her dear sister-in-law Eleanor Acra.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Charles Rolfes; son: Greg Rolfes; parents Harry and Christine (perry) Pfaff; siblings: Frances (Verle) Hertel, Leona (Elmer) Dieckmann, and Bob Pafaff; Rolfes-in-Laws: Robert (Marietta) Rolfes, Helen (John) Yeager, Lewis Rolfes, Eleanor (Harold) Acra, Mary (Robert) Sauntry-Wessels; Joseph Rolfes, Ray (Willa) Rolfes & Carl Greenham. 

Norma left many wonderful memories to cherish and her legacy will live on with her children: Cindy (David) Lyness, Brent (Robbin) Rolfes & Jeff (Teri) Rolfes; grandchildren: Angie (Nick) White, Mark (Mary) Lyness, Craig Lyness, Christi (Tom) Tully, Jessie (Tim) Doll, Eric Rolfes, Christopher Rolfes, Patrick & Nick Rolfes; great grandchildren: Connor, Zoe, Isabelle White, Theo Lyness, Bailey, Collin, Abby & Emma Tully, Ali & Reagan Doll; sisters-in-law: Peg Rolfes, Thelma Greenham, Marge Rolfes & Nelda Pfaff; and wonderful aunt to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private with Burial at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Memorials in Norma's memory can be made to ALS or Parkinsons.
