MILFORD W. TAYLOR, Jr, of Bright, Indiana, passed away on April 6, 2023 at the age of 74. He was born on September 18, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Milford W. Sr and Rosella (nee Kreig) Taylor. He was one of 12 children in the Taylor family. After graduating High School he went to serve in the US Marine Corps, serving from 1967 to 1969. While serving he received Three Purple Hearts and a Gold Star for his courageous service.
Milford was a truck driver all of his life last working at Gosser's Trucking and retiring in 2016. Even before retirement he was a collector of stuff and always enjoyed going to Flea Markets especially White's Flea Market. If you were blessed to have Milford in your circle of friends, you knew he liked to talk all the time. He always kept a conversation going. Milford enjoyed being around family and friends. His coffee runs to McDonalds in Bright would last hours because of the friends he made and the fun conversations that occurred there. He also enjoyed eating at Cracker Barrel. Being part of the Marines he always had a love for the brotherhood and the comradery that came with his service and enjoyed conversations with his comrades. His conversations and love will be dearly missed by his loving daughters: Robyn (Andy) Beimesch & Kelly (Doug) Napier; cherished grandchildren: Ryan & Jacob Beimesch, Brooklyn & Lincoln Napier; dear siblings: Ray (Mary) Taylor, Robert (Bonnie) Taylor, Steve (Debra) Taylor, Dean (Pam) Taylor, Dennis (Cathy) Taylor, RoseAnn Scheadler, Linda (Frank) Krailler, Darlene Young, Anna Young & Michelle Sexton; and sister-in-law: Deborah Taylor. Wonderful uncle to numerous nieces & nephews.
Milford was preceeded in death by his parents: Milford W. Sr. and Rosella (nee Kreig) Taylor; brother Gerald Taylor and brothers-in-law: Ron Scheadler & Steve Young.
Visitation will be at Brater Winter Funeral Home, on Wed. April 12, 2023 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thur. Apr. 13, at 10 am at the funeral home followed by Graveside Services with Military Honors provided by the Harrison Honor Guard and the US Marine Corps.
