Mildred "Millie" Jeffery

Mildred “Millie” Jeffery, of Harrison, passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 88. She was born in Breathitt Co., Kentucky on December 18, 1933, to Winston and Ellafair (nee Calhoun) Elkins. In December or 1950, Millie married George Edward Jeffery and together they were blessed with 3 children: Pamela, Mark, and Kimberly. Millie was a long time Harrison resident, from 1957 to present. She was a busy lady. Millie was a photographer, specializing in wedding photography. She stayed active, doing push ups and sit ups every day. She loved to dance and enjoyed line dancing at Crosby Senior Center, in her 80’s. In her younger years, Millie also enjoyed boating and waterskiing at Lake Santee. Family was very important to Millie. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and her dog D.J.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Pamela (Bruce) Broxterman, Mark (Jenny) Jeffery, and Kimberly (Kurt) Jeffery-Wolfert; grandchildren: Gary Glascock Jr, Benjamin (Jennifer) Callahan, Erin (Tim) Rathman, Joshua (Aeryn) Jeffery, Alexandra Wolfert, Steven (Autumn) Wolfert, and Cheyenne Wolfert; great grandchildren: Lindsey Glascock, Leo Glascock, Jamie Hunsche, Finn Callahan, Hailey, Hanna, Hunter, and Edward Rathman, Aiden and Ava Kimbell, Leah and Liam Jeffery, Edelyn Wolfert, and twin girls on the way.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband: George Edward Jeffery; parents: Winston and Ellafair Elkins; and brother: James Winston Elkins.

A Gathering of Friends will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at 10:00 am until the time of service at 10:30 am.

The family requests memorials be made to Judicial Watch or Hospice of Cincinnati.
