Michael Stuart Simpson

Michael S. Simpson, of Hamilton formerly of Harrison, passed away on August 21, 2020 at University Hospital, at the age of 59. He was born on October 15, 1960 in Harrison to Joseph and Sharon (nee Stuart) Simpson. He was an Elder graduate. He worked at Interstate Trailer as a welder.

Survivors include his father: Joseph Simpson; children: Sheila (Harry) McCane, Crystal (David) Cooper, Stephanie (Jamie) Collins, and Michael Simpson; grandchildren: Andrew Roberts, Cyrus McCane, Kendra & Karson Collins & Sadie Simpson; siblings: Joseph A. (Ramie) Simpson, James A. Simpson, Raymond L. (Linda) Simpson, Steven L. Simpson, Paul (Jamie) Simpson, Betty (Barry) Kober, Rita (Rick) Robben, & Lisa (Greg) Rowe; uncle: Calvin Stuart; Aunt: Anna Lee Dennis. Also survived by his girlfriend: Chrissy Lake and many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Preceded in death by his mom Sharon Simpson; siblings: Bobby Simpson & Mary Billingly.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 10 am until the time of prayers at 12pm at Brater Winter Funeral Home. Graveside services with Military Honors provided by the Harrison Honor Guard will be held following at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Due to County regulations everyone is required to wear a mask and keep 6ft distance with others.

Memorials may be made to the Funeral Home to help with the funeral costs. This can be done in person the day of the service or you can process through the funeral home's website.
