Michael O'Donnell Obituary

Michael J. O’Donnell, of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the age of 69. Michael was born in Rockville Center, New York to John and Jean (nee Mantindale) O’Donnell on March 2, 1953. Michael graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a degree in finance. He then spent four years active duty in the U.S. Navy as a Submarine Officer. Michael relocated to Cincinnati for work at Procter & Gamble, while completing his master’s degree at Xavier University. On August 30, 1986, he married Pamela Mullen. Michael was the father of Aaron, Amelia, and Conor. He retired, after 20 years, from the U.S. Navy as a Naval Commander. In his free time, Michael played golf and enjoyed traveling with Pam. Family was very important to Michael. He started and ended everyday telling Pam he loved her.

Those left to cherish his memory, his loving wife: Pamela O’Donnell; children: Amelia (James) Rosser, Conor (Marin) O’Donnell, and Aaron O’Donnell; grandson: Robbie Rosser; siblings: Carol (Rick) Norman, Kathy (Mark) Coulthard, Susan (Jerry) Vevon, John (Kathy) O’Donnell, Matt (Kathy) O’Donnell, Dan (Jody) O’Donnell, Joseph (Sybil) O’Donnell, Beth (Lance) Redler, Kellie (Jeremy) Braasch; sister-in-law: Brenda (Philip) Bray; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents: John and Jean O’Donnell; nephew: A.J. McBrayer.

A Mass for Michael will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 542 Walnut St., Lawrenceburg, IN 47025, on July 9, 2022, at 11:00 am. Visitation from 10 am until the time of Mass at the church.
