Melissa Graham Tenhundfeld

This world is a little less beautiful with the passing of Melissa Graham Tenhundfeld. Missy passed on May 14, 2022 at the age of 43.  

Missy was born on August 11, 1978 to Thomas J and Victoria Graham (nee Gullett) Tenhundfeld, and later became the big sister of Jennifer, Amanda and Thomas.  Growing up she always was a free spirit and very creative. She graduated William Henry Harrison High School in 1995 and proceeded to cosmetology school to become a hairstylist, which was a perfect fit for her outgoing personality.  She worked for J Michaels and Spada Salon for many years and loved making people feel beautiful. Missy never met a stranger and was the first to help out others. She was never afraid of anything: skydiving, the first to jump off a cliff, she was fearless and always jumped in with her whole heart. She was active for the past year at Celebrate Recovery where she met some wonderful friends that were like family.  Missy enjoyed being outside and gardening and was great at creating things from nothing. She made this world more beautiful with her smile and her full of life attitude and created so many fun memories with family and friends.. too many to list.  If you have a fun memory post it on the tribute page and it will be printed for the family to read. 

Her wonderful memories will live on with her mom: Vickie Tenhundfeld; dad and bonus mom: Thomas & Melinda Tenhundfeld; loving siblings: Jennifer (Christopher "Shay" McCulley) Tenhundfeld, Amanda (James Greer) Tenhundfeld, and Thomas (Ashley Peters) Tenhundfeld; bonus siblings: Scott (Lisa) McHenry & Marissa Moore; cherished nieces & nephews: Kobe, Kamden, Kendelle, Krew, Raegan, Julia, James, Dylan, Layla, Delaney, Murphy, Cole, Noah, Luke, Kylie, Kendra & Kam; dear Aunts & Uncles: Edward (Sheila) Tenhundfeld, Peggy McVey, Steve (Sherry Pennington) Tenhundfeld, Jeff (Debbie) Tenhundfeld, Benny (Julie) Tenhundfeld, Virginia "Jenny" (Rick) Gassman, and Dan Gullett. Missy will also be missed by many extended family and friends.

Melissa was preceded in death by her grandparents; and uncle: Thomas Gullett.

Visitation will be at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 3 PM until the funeral service at 5 PM.  

The family asks that donations be made to Celebrate Recovery.  A funeral home representative will be able to assist at the services.  If you are unable to attend mail your memorial directly to Celebrate Recovery.
