Mary Alice (Hambleton) Kumpf

Mary Alice (nee Hambleton) Kumpf, of Sayler Park, passed away on November 28, 2021 at the age of 77.  She was born on April 1, 1944 in Cincinnati Ohio to Allen and Grace (nee Borgarding) Hambleton.  She married Donald Kumpf in October 17, 1964 and they were blessed with two children: Donald Jr. and David.  Mary Alice worked at Hasbro Toy Company in Market Research.  She visited many schools with different toys to see what they liked and didn't like.  Mary Alice enjoyed gardening and seeing all of the beauty she created with planting her flowers.  She loved to travel and always loved talking about her travels to Alaska, Florida, Hilton Head and Michigan.  Mary Alice especially enjoyed going to the beach and family vacations.

Mary Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald Kumpf, Sr.; parents: Allen and Grace Hambleton; brother: Ross Hambleton; brother in law: Tom Pigeon.

Mary Alice's memory will live on in the hearts of her children:  Donald Kumpf, Jr., David (Danielle) Kumpf; grandchildren: Benjamin and Nicholas; siblings: Patricia (George) Schwab, Kathleen Pigeon, Jill Hurd, Mark Hambleton and Dale (Pat) Lunn; sister in law: Sandy Hambleton and numerous nieces and nephews.   

Visitation will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45233 on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 9 am to 11 am.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Aloysius on the Ohio at 11:30 am.  Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (new).  Fr. Bryan Rief will be the officiant.
