Margo (Mara) Rogers

Margo A. (nee Mara) Rogers, of Colerain, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the age of 64. She was born on January 2, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Charles and Hazel (nee Taylor) Mara. Margo met Ted while taking her son on one of their many fishing trips. Ted said he couldn’t have found a better person to fall in love with. They married on January 25, 1998.  Margo worked as a tax specialist for the ATF up until she retired in 2020. In her free time, Margo loved spending time outside in her flower garden. She also enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband: Theodore Rogers; children: Michelle Walker and Gregory Powell; grandson: Dean Walker; Sister: Sheila Villines; In-laws: Susan (Lonnie) Durham, Elizabeth (Ray) Warren, Charles (Kimberley) Rogers, and James Joseph Palmer.

Margo was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Hazel Mara and siblings: Tommy, Johnny, and Chuck Mara.

Visitation will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave., Sayler Park, Ohio 45233, on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery. Rev. Jackie Apted officiating the services.
