Louise B Purvis

Louise B. (Johnson) Purvis, of Harrison, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at the age of 93. She was born to Martin and Louisa (nee Greene) Johnson on June 20, 1928, in Dearborn County, Indiana. She married Chester Purvis and they had 4 children: Caroline "Carol", Tommy, Danny and Jane Ann.  Louise was the head custodian for Southwest Local Schools for 23 years. After retirement she always made her home open to her family who needed her.  

Her memory will live on in her children: Carol and Tommy Purvis; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband: Chester Purvis; children: Danny Purvis and Jane Ann Purvis; siblings: John Luther, Katie G. Johnson Arnold, Emma (Rob) Pope, Hubert Arthur Johnson, Robert Wayne Johnson, Albert Forest Johnson, Alice May Wright, Wilbert Howard Johnson.

Funeral service will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
