Louis Edwin Barth

Louis Edwin Barth, of Whitewater Township, passed away on February 7, 2021 at the age of 78.  He was born on June 28, 1942 to Edwin and Nellie (nee Kolb) Barth.  He served in the US Airforce. Lou married Dorothy Weldishofer on October 26, 1973 and they were blessed with a son Andrew.  He was a farmer and was a master storyteller. Lou loved watching the Reds and Bengals.  He also enjoyed being a member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. John the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Dorothy (nee Weldishofer) Barth; son: Andrew (Stephanie) Barth; beloved siblings: Millie (Paul) Kraus, Wilma Minger, Dale (Betty) Barth, Carol (John) Anthony, Roy (Lori) Barth.  Also survived by Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law: Bertie Jacob, Paul (Carol) Weldishofer, Lawrence (Marilyn) Weldishofer, Billy Weldishofer, Wilma Burckey, Annie (Philip) Darling, Bonnie (Chris) Mills, Kate & Mary Weldishofer; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Edwin and Nellie Barth;  brothers: James Eugene Barth and Alvin George Barth;  Brothers-in-law: Tom Ferry, Richard, Wilbur, Jim and Joe Weldishofer & Leo Jacob; and sister-in-law: Evie Weldishofer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2 pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 10010 Carolina Trace Road, Harrison.  Followed by burial at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to VA Health Fund through the funeral home.
