Linda J (Morgan) Leidig

July 25, 1963 ~ August 18, 2023 (age 60) 60 Years Old

Obituary

On August 18, 2023, Linda J. Leidig, took her last breath with her family by her side at her home at the age of 60.  Linda was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Herbert A & Enola (nee Estet) Morgan.  She made her way to Florida to Hobe Sound Bible College after high school and that is where she met her future husband, Kevin Leidig.  Kevin knew that there was something different about Linda and on July 6, 1984, they married and started their life together.  Linda and Kevin were blessed with three boys: Keith, Aaron, and Ethan.  She was the best mom to them and was always there supporting them and helping them navigate life. She was a caregiver not only for her family but for elderly people that needed help.  Linda was active in the Harrison Church of the Nazarene and played the piano.  She enjoyed times of visiting the nursing homes and playing songs for the residents.  Linda was a wonderful cook and always tried new recipes.  Even when she thought they turned out bad everyone else thought they were wonderful.  She also enjoyed taking long walks to enjoy the peacefulness and God’s beauty at parks or in the countryside around their home.  Linda was a wonderful wife, mom, and friend of many and will be dearly missed.

Those that will miss her most are her loving husband: Kevin Leidig; boys: Keith, Aaron, and Ethan Leidig; siblings: Donna Morgan, Sherry (Gene) Angel, Dallas (Grace) Morgan, Johnny (Teresa) Morgan, Herbert Jr. (Tammy) Morgan; mother-in-law: Mary Leidig; sisters-in-law: Debbie Morgan, Renee’ (Jeff) Swayzee, Michelle (William) Strunk, and Esther (Ryan) Ebright; many nieces, nephews and many others whom she touched in life through church and caregiving.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Enola Morgan; sibling Leroy Morgan, and father-in-law: Robert Leidig.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 4 pm until the time of the service at 6 pm at the Harrison Church of the Nazarene, 249 Sunset Ave, Harrison, OH 45030.
