Kenneth Phillips Obituary

Kenneth G. Phillips, of Whitewater Township, passed away on March 11, 2021 at the age of 75.  He was born on September 13, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Leonard and Elsie (nee Winkelman) Phillips. Ken joined the US Navy and served from 1964 to 1966. He married Linda Caveman on June 14, 1975.  Ken worked at Lunkenheimer and as a Truck Driver for many years until his retirement.  He enjoyed spending his free time camping at the Lake in the Pines in Sunman, IN and could often be found driving around on the golf cart.  Ken was also a member of the Sunman VFW and enjoyed the comradery with his fellow veterans.  Wrestling nights were sacred to Ken and he watched religiously every week.  Ken was also a good woodworker.  Linda would have something in mind and he would make it.  Ken also liked to fish. 

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife Linda (nee Caveman) Phillips; dear children: Kenny (Judy) Phillips, Kevin (Connie) Phillips and Tara (Ed) Harnishfeger; cherished grandchildren: Colton, Jada, Sara (Charles), Eddie (Amanda), Katie (Dennis) Jessica (Derek), and Kyle; 6 wonderful great grandchildren and siblings: Arlene (Jim) Robertson, and Leonard Phillips. Ken is also survived by his Brothers-in-law: James (Carol) Caveman, Carroll (Dee) Caldwell; sisters-in-law: Sally (Pete) Cattelino and Judie Caldwell and many nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Elsie (nee Winkelman) Phillips; sister-in-law: Kathy Phillips and brother-in-law: Michael Caldwell. 

Services will be private.
