Karen Holley (nee Grubbs) of Harrison, formerly of Clarksburg, Tennessee. Passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 68. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Russell and Ethel (nee Ripperger) Grubbs. Karen worked for Disney for many years first in the HR department and moved to Special Event Planning. She enjoyed showing her family around Disney when they would visit. Karen was a good golfer and also was an artist. She made many paintings over the years along with jewelry.
Karen was the loving daughter of the late Russell and Ethel Grubbs; dear sister of: Donna (Jim) Renck, JoAnn “Jo Momma” (Ray) Wandsnider, Sandy (the late Danny) Sykes and the late Melvin “Chubby” Grubbs; ex-wife of David Holley, Step mom of: Margaret Holley; step grandma of Jake and Sarah; devoted aunt of: Travis (Amy) Renck, Angie (Boonie) Neff, Ryian (Debbie) Grubbs, Kayla Wandsnider, Kevin Collins, Danielle (Zack) Lieb, Jimmy (Dalana) Wandsnider, Jamie Wandsnider and Andrew “Drew” (Jennifer) Sykes. Also survived by dear friend Alison Dunn numerous great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 12 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2 pm at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030. Burial to follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials go to the funeral home to help with the funeral costs.
