Joseph L. Ross, of White Oak, passed away at his home on December 20, 2020, at the age of 77. He was born to Joseph F. and Ella Mae Ross. He married Paula in 1966 and they were blessed with two daughters: Karen and Theresa "Tracy". Joseph served in the US Army and was a School Bus Driver for many years. He taught his children and grandchildren to be hardworking and was a man of few words. He enjoyed cheering on the Cincinnati Reds, bowling, and playing cards, especially with his friends of 45 years Bill, Gary, Joe, Rick & Dave.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years Paula Ross; devoted daughters: Karen Sparks and Theresa (Claudio) Silva; cherished grandsons that he treated as sons: Brandon (Natalie) Wolfe, Hunter Wolfe and Kelby Sparks; and great grandchildren: Mason, Grace and Luke. Joe is also survived by his siblings: Joann (Herman) Douglas, Michaelynn "Mickey" (Joe) Bosse, and Louis "Buddy" Ross; sister-in-law: Betty Simpson; and nieces and nephews.
Public visitation will be at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030 on Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm and private funeral service will be at 3:30 pm and will be limited to family and invited guests only (due to seat capacity at the funeral home.) Masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Memorials can be made to the Vineyard Tri-County Healing Center. You can make your donation to the charity and bring to the visitation. A funeral home representative will assist you with the donation. If you are unable to attend you may mail your donation to the funeral home and they will notify the family of your donation.
