Joseph Henschen, a dedicated and hardworking truck driver, passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 71. Born on February 27, 1952, in Cincinnati, to Joseph R. and Helen (Jacob) Henschen. Joseph was a beloved father, friend, and community member.
Joseph spent 40 years of his life behind the wheel, traversing the roads with skill and commitment. Alongside his trucking career, he proudly served as a Colerain Volunteer Fireman during his younger years, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Outside of work, Joseph had a special bond with his grandchildren. They would often embark on joyful tractor rides with the them in the wagon, creating cherished memories that will be forever treasured. He delighted in treating them to ice cream at Flubbs and shared his love for miniature golf, where he earned the title of champion during friendly competitions with his son.
An enthusiastic John Deere lover, Joseph enjoyed attending Tractor Shows, immersing himself in the world of farming machinery. Some say he should have been a farmer because he loved helping his farming friends. He also developed a passion for Blue Grass music, tapping his foot to the rhythm whenever he had the chance.
Joseph was no stranger to the bowling alley, where he honed his skills and even made appearances on TV. Joseph had a fondness for visiting his favorite businesses in Miamitown, fostering deep connections with the people and places he cherished.
Survivors include his son and daughter in law: Joey & Shannon Henschen; grandchildren: Bailey & Brody Henschen; Biological daughter, Amanda (Jeremy) Klickner and her children: Ashleigh & Ellie.
Preceded in death by his parents: Joseph R and Helen Henschen
