John "Stacy" Grubbs Obituary

John “Stacy” Grubbs, of Bright, Indiana passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 51. Stacy was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on October 8, 1969, to Larry and Patsy (nee Hahn) Grubbs. He studied computer technology at Cincinnati State Community College and worked as a computer analyst. Later, he followed his passion becoming a boat builder for Chris-Craft Boats. Stacy loved sports, especially basketball and the Boston Celtics. He was an avid video gamer and an incredible pool player.

Those left to treasure his memory are his father and stepmother: Larry and Phyllis Grubbs; siblings: Brent J (Lori) Grubbs and Sherri (Jeff) Krimpelman; niece and nephew: Danielle and Cody Krimpelman.

Stacy was preceded in death by his mother: Patsy Grubbs.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Brater Winter Funeral Home (Harrison). Burial to follow at Gibson Cemetery in Bright, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LifeSpring Community Christian Church through the funeral home. You may bring your donation at the time of visitation and a funeral home representative will be happy to assist you.
