Jean (nee Adams) Kinnett, of Harrison, passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 76 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born as Darlene Jean Adams on February 6, 1944 to Earl and Edna Kay (nee Lester) Adams. She had two older brothers: Earl and Jack and two younger sisters: Dixie and Martha. Jean married Alan Kinnett on April 29, 1961. They were blessed with three children: Diana, Jeff and Mike. Jean served the community in many ways. She volunteered at Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church for many events that they hosted. Jean also taught Sunday School at the church. She also enjoyed working at the Lighthouse Christian Store. She loved reading the Bible and listening to God's word. Jean was also a wonderful seamstress and quilter. She also loved hosting family gatherings and being with her cherished grandchildren.
Jean will forever live in the hearts of those she left behind especially her beloved husband of 60 years Alan Kinnett; dear children: Diana Kinnett, Jeff (Debbie) Kinnett and Mike (Donna) Kinnett; cherished grandchildren: Joshua (Ashley) Kinnett, Teara (Ryan) Kist, Kelly (Archie) Abner, Ashley (Cory) Hunt, Katelyn Kinnett and Rachel (Mike) Swaggerty; loving great grandchildren: Lilian, Hunter, Emilee, Lucy, Finley, Carson, Audrina, Caden and Stella; dear sister of Earl (Gail) Adams, Jack (Pat) Adams, Dixie Knapp and Martha Adams. Also survived by sister-in-law: Linda Wolf, brother-in-law: Larry (Sue) Kinnett and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 5 to 6 pm for older and immune compromised individuals and from 6-7 pm for all others. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11 am at the Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church, 9700 Dry Fork Road, Harrison, OH 45030. Services will be livestreamed on the link below on the service listing.

Graveside services will follow the funeral services at Glen Haven Cemetery.
